How to Use

  • Fill test tube to 5 mL mark
  • Add 6 drops from Reagent #1 (dropper held vertically)
  • Cap, shake gently several times
  • Add 6 drops from Reagent #2, cap and shake for 5 seconds
  • Wait 3 minutes, then compare color to the included chart

Interpreting Results & Corrective Actions

  • High phosphate: Perform water changes and use phosphate media (e.g., MaxOut or MaxOut Pro) or FritzZyme sludge cleaners
  • Low phosphate: Add phosphate supplements, select high-PO₄ feed, or use tap/RO water with higher phosphate
