The Shiruba XB-310 Canister Filter is engineered for aquarists with medium-large aquarium setups, offering robust and efficient cleaning for tanks between 200–350 L. The three spacious media baskets (1.6 L each) total 4.8 L of filtration volume, facilitating mechanical, biological, and chemical media layering to suit your needs.

How to Use This External Canister Filter

1. Place the filter near your aquarium in a cabinet or on a surface.
2. Load the three media baskets with sponge, bio-media, activated carbon, or other preferred filtration materials.
3. Connect the inlet and outlet tubing using the 360° swivel taps and compatible 16–22 mm soft tubes.
4. Prime the filter by pressing the vacuum “press-to-draw” button until water fills the canister completely.
5. Switch on the filter and adjust the flow using the flow control valve as required.
6. Regularly rinse mechanical media in aquarium water, replace chemical media routinely, and inspect the motor and taps for smooth operation.

• Clean mechanical media using dechlorinated tank water during water changes to preserve bacterial colonies.
• Replace chemical media like activated carbon every 4–6 weeks to maintain water clarity.
