How to Use This Water Testing Kit

1. Ensure the provided test tube is completely clean before starting.
2. Fill the test tube with exactly a 5 ml sample of your aquarium water.
3. Add 1 drop of the specific GH or KH reagent and shake the tube gently.
4. Continue adding the reagent one drop at a time, shaking after each addition, until a complete color change occurs.
5. Count the total number of drops used to reach the color change.
6. The final drop count represents your water hardness level in dGH or dKH.
7. Rinse the test tube thoroughly with clean water after the process is complete.

Care & Maintenance Tips

• Avoid Rapid Changes: Never adjust GH or KH levels abruptly, as sudden fluctuations can cause severe stress to fish and plants.
• Correcting Low Levels: If readings are too low, gradually introduce mineral supplements, hardness buffers, or crushed coral.
