Directions

• Collect 5 mL of sample water in the tube
• Add 8 drops from Solution #1 and #2 (vertical dropper)
• Cap, invert to mix, let sit for 5 minutes
• Compare color to chart (freshwater vs saltwater scale)

Interpreting Results & Actions

• 0–0.5 ppm: Maintain water & feeding practices; consider biological support
• 0.5–1 ppm: Perform partial water change; use Fritz ACCR or Complete; consider nitrifier bacteria
• 1–2 ppm: Large water changes (~50%), reduce feeding
• >2 ppm: Urgent: 75%+ water change, biological support, consult expert
