Fritz BacterShield® – Bio‑Adhesive Slime Coat Repair Treatment (118 ml)

Fritz BacterShield® uses chitosan and herbal oils to strengthen the fish’s natural mucus layer, defending against bacterial and fungal threats—without using antibiotics. It’s perfect for preventative care post-transport, or to treat mild fin/tail rot, popeye, and early-stage fungal issues.

Dosage & Treatment Schedule

• Standard: 4 drops per gallon or 5 ml (1 tsp) per 25 gal, every other day × 3 doses
• Reef/Invertebrate tanks: 2 drops per gallon (or 5 ml per 50 gal) twice daily every other day × 6 doses
• Shake well before use; remove carbon media during treatment
• Optionally raise tank temp to ≤ 84°F (27–29°C) for better results
• Avoid water changes and monitor dissolved oxygen during treatment
