The Aquario Neo Soil Compact (Plants) is a next-generation planted aquarium substrate designed to provide superior nutrition and water stability for your aquatic plants. With its compact granule structure and natural clay composition, it promotes strong root anchoring, efficient nutrient absorption, and long-term water clarity. Its unique formulation naturally buffers the pH to around 6.0, creating the perfect environment for tropical plants, shrimp, and fish.

Each pack comes with a Plant + Iron Tab, specially developed to enrich the substrate with iron and trace minerals. This combination enhances root metabolism, intensifies leaf coloration, and prevents nutrient deficiencies, ensuring lush, vibrant growth even in demanding aquascapes under high-intensity lighting.

How to Use This Aquarium Soil

1. Rinse the tank lightly (do not wash the soil before use).
2. Spread Neo Soil Compact evenly across the tank base (3–5 cm depth recommended).
3. Plant your aquarium plants directly into the soil.
4. Slowly fill the tank with water to avoid disturbing the substrate.
5. Insert the included Plant + Iron Tab near heavy root feeders for enhanced growth.
6. Run the filter and allow the water to stabilize for 24 hours before introducing livestock.

Care & Maintenance Tips

• Avoid washing or stirring the soil once the tank is filled.
• Perform regular partial water changes during the first few weeks.
• Use CO₂ injection and adequate lighting for optimal plant health.
• Supplement with Aquario Neo Tabs as the substrate matures.
