How to Use This Internal Cartridge Filter

1. Place the Neo 300 in the desired location inside the tank (ideally at the back wall where the tube can circulate water without obstruction).
2. Attach the supplied suction cups to secure the filter housing to the tank wall or a stable surface.
3. Insert the chosen cartridge sachet (Standard Wool, CarboMAX, or PhosMAX) into the filter basket.
4. Connect the aeration hose to the provided nozzle and adjust the flow direction using the twin directional nozzles.
5. Turn on the filter and adjust the flow regulator to achieve the desired circulation speed.
6. After the first week, add a live bacteria culture (e.g., Hydro Bioguard) to help populate the new cartridge.
7. Replace the cartridge when it becomes saturated, typically every 2–4 weeks; you may run an old and new cartridge simultaneously for a smoother transition.
8. Periodically rinse the protective sponge in aquarium water and keep the filter basket free of debris.

Care & Maintenance Tips

• Replace filter cartridges no earlier than every 2 weeks and no later than 4 weeks to maintain filtration efficacy.
