- CO₂ injection and nutrient-rich substrate promote denser, compact growth.
- Regular trimming keeps the carpet flat and encourages lateral spread.
- Maintain stable conditions—temperature 20–26 °C, pH 6.0–7.5, gentle water flow.
Planting & Propagation Recommendations
- Separate into small clumps (~5–8 stems) and plant 2–3 cm apart using tweezers.
- Firmly push roots into substrate; replant any floaters—the plant roots quickly.
- Let it grow a bit before trimming; after initial coverage, trim to maintain a uniform carpet.
- Use on flat foregrounds or to soften hardscape bases; works well in Iwagumi setups.
