Care & Aquascaping Tips
- Medium to high lighting is ideal to maintain a compact, dense carpet.
- CO₂ supplementation promotes strong growth and prevents yellowing.
- Plant in nutrient-rich substrate; liquid or root fertilizers support vibrant coloration.
- Maintain stable tank conditions: 20–26 °C, pH 6.0–7.5, with soft water preferred.
- Trim with scissors when tuft tops grow taller to stimulate lateral runners and thicker mats.
Planting & Propagation Recommendations
- Plant individual tufts (5–10 shoots) about 2–3 cm apart using tweezers.
- Firmly press the roots into the substrate to anchor each clump.
- Once established, trim runners and replant side shoots to expand coverage.
- Works beautifully in Iwagumi layouts, natural aquascapes, or alongside moss-covered rock formations.
